Resource Person

Ms. Zakia Sultana, is currently heading the Operational Excellence and Quality division in airtel Bangladesh Limited with over 12 years of proffessional expereience and 10 years in the project management feild.. She is a very qualified Project Management and Six Sigma (GB & BB ) Professional with over 1$ billion project delivery experience. she has started her project management career being a member of Warid Launch Team and started the six sigma career in Airtel building the operations from Scratch to a fully established OE function. As a Warid launch team member she managed all the Technical and commercial programs under it. Her current responsibility encompasses from managing organization wide top programs with six sigma methodologies and ensuring all projects in the company are achieving the company strategic objective to ensure organizational strategic goal in an error free and quality environment.

In some of her previous assignments, she has successfully handled more than 28 GB, BB projects and is currently a member of the Central airtel MBB panel. she has a wide service experience in the telco sector as well as the IT sector. she also brings to the table her experience in developing green field operations under the project management and six sigma platform.

Before joining Warid/airtel telecom, she was working in Grameenphone and millennium software limited which is one of the major software firms in Bangladesh. Ms. Zakia sultana is a graduate from American University of Asia (Dubai campus) and has completed many management diploma’s from University of Huston clear lake, Texas, USA.

Certification

The exam comprises of 60 questions in 1.5 hours out of which the candidate needs to score 70% to pass.

Retaking of exam
1. If a Candidate does not pass the exam in the second (2nd) attempt, the candidate must wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of their attempt to retake the exam for third (3rd) time or any subsequent time.
2. The exam can be taken any number of times.

Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CLSSYB) exam comprises of basics of the Lean Six Sigma Methodology and supports improvement projects as a part of a team. A Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt possesses an understanding of the aspects within the phases of D-M-C. They apply this knowledge to all aspects of their primary functions. Six Sigma is a business strategy that focuses on product and service excellence, to create a culture that demands perfection. The DMAIC methodology is the roadmap to achieving this target.
