Dr. Charles G. Alexi is a senior Process automation & telecom consultant and instructor at TONEX. His experience includes telecom, IP and NGN training and consulting with many service providers, and equipment vendors. He has 15 years of proven leadership in the technologies of managing voice, data, wireless, broadband networks services and systems. He is also specialized in the areas of NGN design, architecture, planning, capacity optimization and network management. He has demonstrated strengths in strategic technology planning and business development, in product line management, in business and service architectures, network architecture and design, network deployment, systems integration, and standards development. Dr. Alexi has been committed to bringing NGN technology and network training and consulting including NGN network planning, NGN product requirements definitions, NGN Telecom Fraud Management and performance improvement to organizations through the transformation of their business and operations over the last 10 years (ATM , IPv4/IPv6, xDLS, IPTV, QoS, MPLS, 3G/4G wireless) WiMAX and Mobile WiMAX, E-UTRA/E-UTRAN, LTE (Long Term Evolution), IP Networks and Real-Time Applications, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystems), Voice and Video over IP, IPTV and HDTV, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Networking, Push-to-Talk, Mobile TV, DVBH/IPDC, Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS), Entertainment and Interactive Content, Self-Defending Networks, MPLS and MPLS/VPNs, Optical Networking, GMPLS, Advanced Optical and Photonic, Fixed-Mobile Convergence and more).

Charles Alexi received his Ph.D. (Computer Science) from the Stanford in 1993 and MS (EE) from UCLA in 1991. He has expertise in all aspects of telecom management and operation.
